Snug and welcoming, perfect for a short stay.
Family-run bed & breakfast — Turin
We are a small family-run bed and breakfast in an old farmhouse tied to the history of the Marquises of Barolo. Three rooms and four apartments in the north-west of Turin, between the Royal Palace of Venaria and the city centre, where we welcome people travelling for pleasure, for work and for events at the stadium. Our guests tell us it feels like being at home: it is the compliment we care about most.

The rooms
All three of our rooms are in the same self-contained part of the B&B. They are comfortable and carefully looked after, meant for anyone after a calm stay: each has its own private bathroom, air conditioning and WiFi, and all three open onto the little shared room where breakfast is served in the morning.

Snug and welcoming, perfect for a short stay.

Intimate and well cared for, ideal for a quiet stay.

Comfortable, with a warm and traditional character.
Two properties
On the same road, a few steps apart, we run two different but complementary addresses. What changes is the kind of stay, not the welcome: it is always us you are talking to.

A small family-run bed and breakfast with just three rooms, each with its own bathroom. Breakfast is always included and is served in the shared room, where there is also a little kitchen area for guests. For anyone who would rather be looked after and find things ready.
Four self-contained studio apartments, each with its own kitchen area and its own front door. No timetable to keep to once you are inside: you come and go as you please. Ideal for families, groups of friends and anyone staying a few days longer.
Like being at home.
The line that comes back most often in our reviews
The farmhouse

Cascina Barolo was built in the late eighteenth century, in what was then open countryside on the edge of Turin. It carries the name of the family that owned it: the Marquises of Barolo, the same family that gave the wine its name.
Two hundred years later the city has grown up around the farmhouse, and a forty-thousand-seat stadium has been built a hundred metres away. The courtyard, the thick walls and the quiet are still the same.
Who stays with us
Over a year, people pass through here travelling for very different reasons. We try to give each of them what they need, and it is nearly always the same thing: a quiet place to come back to in the evening.
The Royal Palace of Venaria is two kilometres away and the centre is an easy trip by public transport. You sleep away from the traffic and come back to a farmhouse, not to a hotel on a ring road.
We are close to the ring road, with parking in the courtyard when there is space and WiFi in every room. For stays of several days we have special rates: just ask.
The three rooms can be booked all together, and the apartments have a kitchen area. We have hosted work teams for weeks at a time.
Matches, concerts and trade fairs at the stadium, a hundred metres away. Event dates have their own arrangement, which we explain on its own page.

A message or a phone call is all it takes. You will hear back from us directly, every day from 9am to 10pm.
On stadium event dates the stay is two nights.
